Quality Assurance

The Quality Assurance of the PhD programme encompasses the definition and implementation of the following processes:

  • PhD Programme Design
  • Organization of Training and Research Activities
  • Monitoring and Continuous Improvement, based on the analysis of key performance indicators and the results of surveys reflecting PhD students' perspectives.

To support PhD Programs in establishing and managing QA processes, and to oversee the implementation of related procedures, the Unige Quality Assurance Office requires the preparation of the following documentation:

  • Initial PhD Programme Design
  • Stakeholder Consultation / Advisory Committee Report
  • Planning and Organization of Training and Research
  • Analysis of PhD Students' Questionnaire Results
  • Indicator Analysis
  • Periodic Review Report

These documents are prepared by the QA Commission and approved by the Doctoral Board.
