By air

It is advisable to catch the shuttle bus “Volabus” from Cristoforo Colombo airport to Brignole train station. From here, you can travel by bus following the indications below.

By train

If possible, it is more convenient to get off at Genova Brignole station. All trains from Rome – La Spezia stop at Brignole, but many coming from Turin, Milan or Ventimiglia only stop at Genova P. Principe station. In this case, you can catch one of the many local or long-distance trains to Brignole station. From here, you can travel by bus following the indications below.

By bus

Outside Genova Brignole station, there are bus stops on the other side of the road. You can catch the number 17 Bus and get off at the Hospital stop (Ospedale). From here, the Department is within a 10-minute walking distance. For route details, please see map below.

By car

From the East take the A12 Livorno - Genova and exit at GE Nervi.
From the West take the A10 Ventimiglia (Nice) – Genova and exit at GE Ovest.
From the North take the A7 Milano – Genova and exit at GE Ovest or take the A26 Gravellona (Simplon) - Genova (junction to A10 at GE Voltri) and exit at GE Ovest.
